USSI Global Attends InfoComm 2018
Attending the InfoComm 2018 were USSI Global Director of Business Development, Steve Hathcock, joined by Amanda Flynn also with Business Development. The event welcomed over 40,000 registered attendees from the United States and more than 100 countries, breaking last year’s record. As the largest Pro-AV (audiovisual) trade conference in North America, the week’s activities included educational sessions, technology solutions, exhibitions and presentations of AV trends and industry networking events.
Leaders such as USSI Global came together to learn and share the latest technology in this multi-billion-dollar market segment. Attendees included manufacturers, dealers, system integrators, service providers, programmers, and technology managers.
Today’s standards in AV technology, communication, techniques, and equipment have surpassed the market revenue predictions, driving technology to the next generation. The demand for advancement continues as businesses of all sizes and genres integrate virtual technology into the day-to-day business practices.
For USSI Global, we are looking for innovated products to complement the support services for smart signage. Leading the theme this year were interactive displays, some still in the process of final development, others ready to implement as to upgrade existing infrastructure.
New Age Designs
LED tiles were the featured product on display at InfoComm 2018. Replacing outdated signage, LED screens attracted more attention simply because they stand out with dramatic effect. In addition, the show featured innovations from Samsung Electronics. They featured an impressive .8 mm LED tile so thin the traditional lines of the tiles disappeared.
Outdoor solutions and marketing galleries with high-resolution displays were unveiled at InfoComm 2018 with enhanced brightness and color contrast ratios. These displays will set the tone for the business brand, creating an engaging environment for the audience.
Think Tank
Center Stage gathered leading visionaries and practitioners from the fields of entertainment, enterprise, education, and hospitality. Technology experts contributed to the conversation, interacting with the attendees about the role AV plays in various business segments and our daily lives. The ultimate goal focused on how advanced technical interfaces stimulate audience interactions.
At a networking dinner, Kanex introduced the latest in electronic solutions for keeping both power and the connections intact. After hours, USSI Global attended the Samsung Smart signage partner awards – recognized for solving business challenges associated with digital signage technology. Both events were incredible, surrounded by industry giants.
We reconnected with past clients and answered questions about our service solutions. As we listened to their needs – we came away with new ideas for managing technology initiatives capable of fulfilling the future performance needs of our clients.
What’s Next?
The most evolved aspect of network communications using video, audio, and data was the improved quality of imagery. We were not surprised by the market sectors responding to the blending of advanced technology with digital signage products for business applications. It is the reason USSI Global consistently looks for product reliability solutions to integrate into our service menu.
Overall, it was a pleasure to network with current and prospective clients. One discussion continued to resurface, the benefits of USSI Global’s out of warranty programs. It was a perfect opportunity to introduce the mix of services for hardware along with USSI Global warranty options.
Bright Potentials
The weather was beautiful – not too hot with sunny skies the entire time. The same conditions exist at USSI Global for the client looking to stay ahead of their competition. Technology designers and vendors demonstrated optimum viewing experiences for enterprises with display options between marquee, portrait orientation or touchscreen interactions.
Many thanks to InfoComm 2018 for presenting the possibilities of AV technology. We look forward to the next generation of revolutionary digital accomplishments at InfoComm 2019.
